  A: Use the j 41013 and j 42450-a tool kits to fix your Brake Disc. The brake discs must stay untouched when handling complaints involving brake noise, brake wear issues, external disc damage, and discoloration. Recondition the disc system only if its grooves fail the specs, the disc brake surface develops heavy marks, brake shaking results from modified thickness or runout positions, or when rust or pits invade the disc surface. To check the wheel bearing/hub cleanliness level use the j 42450-a device before measuring the disc's thinnest area with a micrometer; if the disc thickness meets minimum standards replace it instead of restoring the brake surface.
