Chevrolet SSR Fuse Box Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the rear Fuse Box on Chevrolet SSR?
    A:
The first step to swap the rear electrical center or junction block involves opening the body accessory compartment through folding top cycling before setting the Ignition Switch to off position. Start by disconnecting the negative cable and then unwinding the nuts before taking off the lid from the body accessory compartment. The process begins by removing the folding top control module while pressing the retaining tab so you can pull out the rear electrical center from its intermediate bracket. During this step disconnect the electrical connector. The rear electrical center should be placed close to its mounting position before connecting the electrical connector. Place the rear electrical center onto the intermediate bracket while ensuring the retaining tab is fully integrated before replacing the body accessory compartment lid and securing its nuts to 7.0 n.m (62 lb in). Reconnect the negative Battery Cable before finishing the process by closing the folding top.
