A: Replacement of the front door window glass weather strip begins by removing the door trim panel then the water deflector and the window. Before extracting the weather strip from the door, first remove its screws from all points then detach it from the front of the glass run channel along with the top of the window frame flange and the rear of the glass run channel. Place the new weather strip into the exact positions which include the front of the glass run channel and the top of the window frame flange and the rear of the glass run channel. Service Precautions Fastener Notice must be followed. Place the bolts and fasten them to 6 N.m (53 lb in) torque strength and reinstall the window, the water deflector followed by the door trim panel. Complete inspection of the windows operation should be performed last.
