The process of replacing the front door window weather strip requires removal of the door trim panel subsequently followed by removal of the water deflector and window. First secure the door by removing its screws then slowly pull the weather strip out from all three locations: the front of the glass run channel and the top and back of the window frame flange before complete removal. Install the new product at the front of the glass run channel followed by the top of the window frame flange and the rear of the glass run channel before tightening bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in) according to Service Precautions Fastener Notice. Complete the procedure by reinstalling the window followed by the water deflector and door trim panel then check the window operation.

Before you start replacing the weather strip on the mid gate lower, begin by lowering the rear seat then removing the rear removable glass panel. Afterward remove the midgate and floor hinge molding. Start pulling out the weather strip at its far end of the vehicle structure. Start working on replacing the weather strip only when the temperature reaches a minimum of 21°C (70°F). Start inserting the weather strip from one end with both corners inside to ensure proper seating. Place back the floor hinge molding and the midgate before using the midgate and setting the rear removable glass panel. Wrap up the assessment by examining the weather strip while the midgate is shut and the glass panel is placed. Return the rear seat to its upright position afterwards.

Replacement of the front door window glass weather strip begins by removing the door trim panel then the water deflector and the window. Before extracting the weather strip from the door, first remove its screws from all points then detach it from the front of the glass run channel along with the top of the window frame flange and the rear of the glass run channel. Place the new weather strip into the exact positions which include the front of the glass run channel and the top of the window frame flange and the rear of the glass run channel. Service Precautions Fastener Notice must be followed. Place the bolts and fasten them to 6 N.m (53 lb in) torque strength and reinstall the window, the water deflector followed by the door trim panel. Complete inspection of the windows operation should be performed last.

The first step requires removal of the door trim panel as well as the water deflector and window before starting the replacement. First disconnect the screws which enable the weather strip to be drawn from the glass run channel front and the window frame flange top and glass run channel rear before extracting it from the door. The new weather strip should be positioned exactly where the previous one was located on each area: front of the glass run channel then top of the window frame flange before reaching the rear of the glass run channel. Follow installation procedure by placing bolts at their positions and then tightening them to 6 N.m (53 lb in). Complete the installation by putting back the window then the water deflector and finally the door trim panel and do a final check of window operation.

Begin the Front Side Door Window weather strip replacement by first removing the door trim panel together with the water deflector and the window. You must first remove one screw then carefully focus the weather strip from its position in front of the glass run channel and atop the window frame flange and back of the glass run channel before removing it from the door opening. Install the new weather strip by putting it into position at the front of the glass run channel as well as the top of the window frame flange and the rear of the glass run channel. Place the bolts correctly before you tighten them to 6 N.m (53 lb in). Reinstall the window followed by the water deflector before setting the door trim panel in place. Finally inspect the operation of the window for proper functionality.

Carefully lift the forward end of the outer sealing strip to unhook the rear from the window run channel, then remove it from the door.

Take out the midgate and the floor hinge molding.

Fold down the rear seat and remove the rear removable glass panel, followed by the midgate.

The new weatherstrip should be at a minimum of 21°C (70°F).

Reinstall the rear removable glass panel and inspect the weatherstrip to ensure it is properly seated.

Fold down the rear seat and remove the rear removable glass panel.

Ensure the area is clean and free of foreign material.

Reinstall the windshield pillar molding, hinge pillar trim panel, and sill plate.

Begin by removing the door trim panel.

Hook the rear end of the new sealing strip into the window run channel.

Place the new weatherstrip in the same locations: the front of the glass run channel, the top of the window frame flange, and the rear of the glass run channel.

The weatherstrip should be at a minimum of 21°C (70°F).

A clean environment is important to prevent dust or dirt from interfering with the adhesive backing, as foreign material may cause improper adhesion.

Open the liftgate and remove the weatherstrip molding from the pinch-weld flange by firmly gripping it and carefully pulling it out and away from the vehicle.

First, open both doors and remove the sill plate, hinge pillar trim pillar, and windshield pillar molding.

Close the door.

The door closing effort and ensure a proper seal to the door fit.

Insert the groove of the weatherstrip into the endgate opening flange from either side.

Align the paint mark on the weatherstrip to the outer top center of the pinch weld flange, then push the weatherstrip onto the flange, starting from the top center of the endgate opening.

Push the new weather-strip over the pinch-weld flange.

Align the new weatherstrip to the door opening, ensuring the two dots are positioned on the upper right and left sides, and the bond joint is at the lower center of the door opening.

Peel off the backing paper.

Reinstall the windshield pillar molding, hinge pillar trim pillar, and sill plate.

Raise the window again.

The bond joint should be at the lower center of the door opening.

Open both doors and remove the sill plate.

First, remove the front door sill plate.

Take out the weatherstrip from the door opening flange.

Next, align the slot in the rear hood seal with the cowl pinch-weld flange and press it into place.

Peel the weatherstrip from the rear side door opening away from the channel, pulling it from the pinchweld flange.

Reinstall the window, the water deflector, and the door trim panel.

Carefully place the sunroof window weatherstrip onto the perimeter of the sunroof window, ensuring it is fully seated.

Align the slot in the rear hood seal with the cowl pinch-weld flange and press it into place.
