Take 3M(TM) scotch brite molding adhesive remover disk (3M(TM) P/N 07501) or its comparable product to wipe away any remaining adhesive from both the door panel surface and the nameplate backing. Use varnish makers and painters (VMP) naptha to clean the door surface for application. When the design marker points are unavailable position new tape for installation. Heat the door surface to 70°F using the heat gun (J 25070) and avoid sticking the emblem/nameplate backing to the hot surface.
