Begin your Water Pump (300) replacement on rpos ly2, lc9, ly5, lmg, and lfa by taking out the air cleaner outlet duct and draining the cooling system. Move aside the inlet hose clamp and take off the radiator vent inlet hose from its connection to the coolant air bleed pipe. Reposition the clamp on the radiator inlet hose before removing this hose from the Water Pump. Slide aside both radiator input and output hoses before taking off the accessory
Drive Belt. Release the outlet hose clamp and take off the radiator outlet hose from the Water Pump before placing the hose back. Shift the surge tank hose clamp and pull off the hose from the Water Pump outlet. Afterwards, move the detached hose to the side. Disengage and extract the heater inlet hose from its connection at the Water Pump through the movement of its clamp. Rework the Water Pump bolts (301) and also replace the Water Pump part (300) together with the gaskets (309), after getting rid of the gaskets. Use new Water Pump (300) elements specifically along with gaskets (306) while making sure all gaskets touchpoints remain clean of oil or external objects. Insert the Water Pump bolts (301) and initially tighten them to 15 nm (11 lb ft). Then torque them to the final value of 30 nm (22 lb ft). Put back the heater inlet hose with its clamp then apply the radiator surge tank outlet hose and its clamp. Fit the outlet
Radiator Hose and its clamp underneath the belt next. Place radiator hoses properly and attach the inlet hose to the Water Pump with its holder. Install the radiator vent inlet hose at the coolant air bleed fitting to keep it secured by a clamp. Fill the cooling system after you place the air cleaner outlet duct back in its position.
