  A: Service operations on ignition coils start by separating the Spark Plug wire from the faulty component then unplug its electrical connector. First remove the two bolts which secure Ignition Coil 1 or Ignition Coil 2 to the valve cover before taking out the Ignition Coil 1 or Ignition Coil 2 from the valve cover. The service begins by removing the 1 cylinder Spark Plug wire from Ignition Coil or the 2 cylinder Spark Plug wire from Ignition Coil. Install by connecting the 1 cylinder Spark Plug wire to Ignition Coil and the 2 cylinder Spark Plug wire to Ignition Coil before putting back Ignition Coil 1 or Ignition Coil 2 on the valve cover. Use the two bolts to secure the assembly before tightening them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Reconnect the electrical connector to both the Ignition Coil and attach the Spark Plug wire to the Spark Plug.
