How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Prior to installing a new engine oil pressure sensor or switch start by elevating your vehicle through proper lifting tools. Next, remove the engine shield. Uncouple the electrical connection from the oil pressure switch before you extract the switch. Installation requires both 20 Nm (15 lb ft) torque setting on the new oil pressure switch and reattachment of the electrical connector. Complete the installation by reinstalling the engine shield followed by lowering the vehicle.
