How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 1 on Chevrolet Traverse?

The vehicle needs to be securely raised while keeping it in position for heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for bank 1 sensor 1 replacement. Use a wrench to remove the retainer between the ho2s electrical connector and engine wiring harness electrical connector and disconnect both components from each other. The Exhaust Manifold should receive the removal of ho2s. Anti-seize compound gm p/n 12377953 or its equivalent should be used to coat the threads during installation when using an existing sensor because ho2s threads contain a unique compound of liquid graphite with glass beads which helps future sensor removal. Fit the ho2s onto the Exhaust Manifold while using a torque of 42 nm (31 lb ft). Together with engine wiring harness attach the connector to the ho2s electrical connector before fastening the engine wiring harness clip to the ho2s electrical connector retainer. Finally, lower the vehicle.
