  Q: How to replace the ABS Control Module on Chevrolet Uplander?

  A: Start the ABS Control Module replacement process by putting the ignition switch to off to avoid harm to ABS Control Module/ebtcm. The first step of this procedure requires removal of the air cleaner assembly from inside the engine compartment. Becoming to the replacement procedure requires first reversing the connection of the ABS Control Module harness connector before wiping away accumulated dirt from the connector assembly. The ABS Control Module pump motor connector must be detached from its bottom location and attention must be given to the seal and solenoid valves to prevent damage while the connector is removed. Unfasten all ABS Control Module screws which attach the ABS Control Module to the bpmv before pulling ABS Control Module away from bpmv to achieve separation.
