Intake Manifold. Through the process disconnect both engine fuel feed pipes at the Fuel Rail and engine fuel return pipes at the
Fuel Pressure Regulator while removing the o-rings from all the pipes. Unplug the main injector harness electrical connector as well as the fuel injector connectors through the lock release up action and lock tab depression. Separate the injector electrical harness from the Fuel Rail before removing the coolant temperature sensor electrical connector. Begin the process by taking off the Fuel Rail retaining bolts followed by the Fuel Rail assembly before moving to remove injector o-ring seals from the spray tips of each injector. The new Fuel Rail assembly requires tilting for injector installation before securing it with attaching bolts which should be tightened to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Complete the electrical connection of the coolant temperature sensor before mounting the injector electrical harness to the rail and attending to the injector connectors by securing their slide locks. Implement this procedure by installing new o-rings onto the fuel feed and return pipes then attaching the fuel feed pipe at the Fuel Rail and tightening the nut to 17 n.m (13 lb ft). The negative
