How should you bench bleed a brake master cylinder before installation on GMC C2500?

Bleed the Brake Master Cylinder off a workbench first to save time when completing the brake hydraulic bleeding process. Set the outlet ports in place first and rest the master cylinder in a vise with its front end pointed downward. Insert clean brake fluid into the reservoir. Stroke the primary Piston using a round-end tool 25 mm (1 inch) in length several times but keep in mind that the Piston will not move through its whole path due to air venting. Place the master cylinder in the vise and tilt its front end upward. Activate the primary Piston through 25 mm (1 inch) travel five times more. Put the master cylinder flat on the vise and unscrew outlet plugs while rotating through them one by one. Insert the Piston into the bore to drive out air which secures the plug(s) until you pull the Piston back to its normal position to seal off the system. Replenish the brake fluid reservoir using clean fluid and perform regular bleeding operations after installing the master cylinder.
