Begin sensor replacement for the crankshaft position (CKP) by placing the ignition key in off or lock and turning off every electrical load. After elevating the vehicle start by taking off the Starter component. Separate the ckp sensor retaining fastener before pulling out the ckp sensor. Begin by installing the ckp sensor followed by tightening its retaining fastener to 25 n.m (18 lb ft).
