Start by detaching the endgate handle bolts then remove the handle from its endgate mounting position. Remove the lock cylinder when equipped from the endgate handle. Begin installation by affixing the lock cylinder onto the endgate handle then fasten the handle to the endgate. Fasten the endgate handle with bolts following a torque specification of 9 N.m (80 lb in). Reinstall endgate latch rods by securing them onto retaining clips found on the handle before reattaching the clips. Finally, reinstall the endgate cover.
