How to Service and Repair the Power Steering Reservoir for the CB Series on GMC Jimmy?

For CB Series power steering reservoir service and repairs start with placing the hydraulic pump on a fixed flat surface where the shaft should face upwards. Insert a screwdriver to stretch the retaining clip tab outside before moving the reservoir clip backwards from its position around the hydraulic pump assembly. Thoroughly perform the same process again to extract the second reservoir clip while proceeding to remove the reservoir from the hydraulic pump housing. Discard the O-ring seal from the reservoir neck either by removing it from the reservoir section or from the hydraulic pump housing compartment. Place power steering fluid on the new O-ring seal before putting it on the reservoir neck. Mount the reservoir onto the hydraulic pump assembly by ensuring the neck hole of the reservoir aligns completely with the hydraulic pump assembly components. Secure the reservoir with new retaining clips that come with the pump while matching the feet of the reservoir with the hydraulic pump housing sides.
