GMC Savana 1500 Coolant Reservoir Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace a Coolant Reservoir on GMC Savana 1500?
    A:
To remove the coolant reservoir, initially drain the coolant to some degree. Disconnect the hose from the coolant reservoir, and then remove the retaining screws and take the reservoir out. For installation, install the new coolant reservoir into its place trying to follow fastener caution so as not to put the vehicle out of operation (O'Hare & O'Hare, 2012). Secure the reservoir with removing the retaining screws and tightening firmly to 6 Nm (53 lb in) and reattach the hose. Lastly, fill the reservoir with coolant while following the right procedures.
