How to Replace the A/C Hose with 4.8L, 5.3L, or 6.0L Engines for Suction Hose on GMC Savana 2500?

Start by recovering the refrigerant before you replace the suction hose on vehicles with 4.8l, 5.3l, or 6.0l engines. At this step, take off the coolant recovery reservoir. After this, separate the suction line nut off the accumulator and, if the vehicle comes with rear air, also remove the rear suction line nut . After that, unscrew the suction line bolt on the compressor and pull out the suction line from the car. For installation, reconnect the suction line to the vehicle, but use the right fastener precautions. Attach the suction line bolt to the compressor and make sure it is tightened to 35 nm (26 lb ft). When necessary, put the rear suction line nut in place, tighten it to 16 nm (12 lb attach the coolant recovery reservoir in place and then use the j 39400-a halogen leak detector to check for leaks on the fittings.
