The positive crankcase ventilation valve requires service which begins by disconnecting both hosings: the PCV Valve Hose assembly from the Intake Manifold and additionally the hose connected to the valve rocker arm cover. Labelling the PCV Valve cover for the upper Intake Manifold position will allow its removal by turning it counterclockwise until it can be accessed for installation while discarding the o-ring seal. Place a new seal (O-ring) on the PCV Valve cover before lubricating it with clean engine oil following the installation steps. First insert the PCV Valve cover into the upper Intake Manifold before tightly turning it into its correct position.
