How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on GMC Savana 2500?

Open and safety-secure the hood before you take out the washer solvent bolt from its holder. Unscrew the washer solvent container until the washer hose and electrical connector are visible. Then disconnect both components from the washer pump and put a cap on the pump side to stop washer solvent escape. Take out the washer solvent container and drain the liquid into a proper container before separating the washer pump from it and its cap. Place the new washer pump within the washer solvent container and fasten it using the cap. Connect the washer hose and electrical connector from the brake switch to the washer pump. Insert the washer solvent container into chassis location points and fasten it with a bolt tightened to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Install the upper fender support then put washer solution into the container and shut the hood.
