How to service and repair the Windshield Washer Pump on GMC Savana 3500?

To perform work on the windshield Washer Pump you must first disconnect the master cylinder from its position while keeping the brake lines attached. Separate out the master cylinder for later use and take out the bolt from the washer solvent holder. Next push up the washer solvent holder to easily see and detach the washer tube and electrical connector. Take out the Washer Pump by disconnecting both its hose and electrical connections from the device and removing it from the washer solvent container. Put the Washer Pump into the washer solvent container while attaching washer hose and electrical connector to the Washer Pump. These parts should fit into the washer solvent container's chassis locating holes before installation. Secure the washer solvent container with the bolt by turning it to 10 n.m (89 lb in) and return the master cylinder into place.
