How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on GMC Sierra 3500?

To replace the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor or Switch, take out the engine sight shield. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector and use the Oil Pressure Sensor Socket (J 41712) to pull off the oil pressure sensor. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) to the new oil pressure sensor's threads, then install it with the help of the Oil Pressure Sensor Socket (J 41712) tightening the sensor to 30 into Nm (22 ft. lbs.). Reconnect oil pressure sensor electrical connector and replace the engine sight shield.
