How to replace the steering knuckle on a 2500 on GMC Yukon?

When replacing a 2500 Steering Knuckle start by removing the tire and wheel and then remove the wheel drive shaft if equipped to the vehicle. Uture service of the lower Ball Joint. Unos the Wheel Bearing and hub assembly needs removal. Outer tie rod removal from the knuckle requires support of the lower Control Arm to prevent movement. First remove the upper Ball Joint from the knuckle and then separate the lower Ball Joint from the same component. When servicing the lower Ball Joint keep all brake and electrical components connected to the system. Attach the knuckle assembly to the vehicle's side while maintaining its position. Next step is to take the knuckle off the vehicle body. The first step for installation involves setting the knuckle on the lower Ball Joint before installing the upper Ball Joint. Following the connection of the outer tie rod to the knuckle you should install the Wheel Bearing and hub assembly. The original wheel drive shaft must be reinstalled when present. After removing the lower Control Arm support, install the tire and wheel to the vehicle.
