How to replace the MAP Sensor on GMC Yukon XL 1500?

Begin by unscrewing the fasteners at the sight shield of the intake manifold then take off the shield. First disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector then extract the MAP sensor from the intake manifold. Prior to installing the new MAP sensor apply a thin layer of clean engine oil to the sensor's seal. Push the MAP sensor into its retainer through engagement before plugging in the MAP sensor electrical connector. After you install the intake manifold sight shield make sure to fasten its components tightly to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
