How to Replace the Grille Emblem on GMC Yukon XL 2500?

To remove the emblem for the grille on a GMC vehicle, remove the upper baffle of the grille first. Measure and mark out the area behind the grill for drilling holes and mounting brackets into the bottom of the pad portion of the emblem using a small flat-bladed tool, then release the retaining clips found on the rear of the emblem to separate and pull the emblem away from the grille . For installation align the emblem with openings on the grille and push it rearward till retaining clips are fully seated. Finally, re-install the upper grille baffle.
