    Q:
How to replace the drive belt on Chevrolet Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin drive belt replacement by elevating your vehicle before taking off the front fender liner. Going counterclockwise on the drive belt tensioner releases the spring tension which allows the drive belt to be taken off. To perform the installation work you should first rotate the drive belt tensioner counterclockwise to release spring tension before adding the new drive belt then reattach the front fender liner finally lowering the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the drive belt on GMC Terrain? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before Drive Belt replacement begin by taking off the engine splash shield. The technician should attach the accessory belt tensioner unloader (J 44811) to the tensioner and turn it counterclockwise to loosen Drive Belt tension. Pull the Drive Belt before performing a slow clockwise rotation of the accessory belt tensioner unloader (J 44811) plus the tensioner until the tool can be safely taken off. The new Drive Belt installation process begins with positioning it around all pulleys except the Drive Belt tensioner followed by securing the accessory belt tensioner unloader (J 44811) onto the tensioner before rotating it counterclockwise. Guide the Drive Belt under the tensioner pulley before you turn the tensioner clockwise to place the pulley on the Drive Belt. The last step includes installing the engine splash shield on the vehicle.
