    First, take out the upper Control Arm and hold it in a vise to change the bushings. You can use the j 21474-01 Control Arm Bushing service set to get rid of the upper Control Arm bushings. Subsequent to that, fit the new upper Control Arm bushings using your tool, followed by taking the arm from the vise and putting it back in place.

In the same way you used the Control Arm Bushing service set (J 21474-01) to take out the bushings you must use it to put in the new ones. The Control Arm installation process ends by extracting the upper Control Arm from its vise position before reinstallation.

    Begin upper Control Arm Bushing replacement on a 4wd vehicle by collecting the j 21474-01 Control Arm Bushing service set together with j 21474-18 nut and j 21474-19 bolt. Control Arm Bushing service set (J 21474-01) combined with nut (J 214 74-18) and bolt (J 21474-19). Start your work by unbolting the upper Control Arm from its position then fix it inside a vise. The Control Arm Bushing service set (J 21474-01) has everything needed to take out the old bushings. Use the same tool set to install replacement bushings onto the upper Control Arm. Following final installation you should remove the upper Control Arm from the vise to install it.

For bushing replacement use the same Control Arm Bushing service set (J 21474-01) to install the new upper Control Arm bushings after their removal. After the installation finishes properly take the upper Control Arm out of the vise to reinstall it.
