Place the cable at the shock absorber bracket and fasten it through a 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) tight bolt installation. The mounting bracket allows cable attachment when locking tabs snap into position before the cable end reaches the equalizer where it requires tightening to 3.5 Nm (31 inch lbs.). Take away safety stands afterward lowering the vehicle and adjust the park brake cable.

The cable needs connecting first to differential clips before moving to the equalizer while the nut securing it at the equalizer needs to be tightened to 3.5 Nm (31 inch lbs.). The last step includes lowering the vehicle and removing safety stands before adjusting the park brake cable.

Trim the cable onto the mounting bracket by letting the locking tabs snap into place before you connect it to the equalizer bar and pull down the vehicle after safety stand removal and finish by adjusting the park brake cable.

Remove the nut from the threaded end of the intermediate cable and disconnect the equalizer from the rear park brake cables.

Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
