How to replace the outlet coolant pipe (RPO LY7) on Buick Rendezvous? Posted by Customer
    A:
To bleed out the coolant outlet pipe (RPO LY7), drain the cooling system. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the coolant outlet pipe and remove the radiator outlet hose from pipe. Then temperature sensor cable while supporting the camshaft carrier should be undone.next, you should remove the coolant outlet pipe bolts and then you also remove the coolant outlet pipe itself and then throw the old o-ring seal. For installation, you will connect a new coolant outlet pipe o-ring seal on the outlet pipe and put it on. Make sure to tighten the outlet pipe to thermostat housing bolt to 23 n.m (17 lb ft) as well as the outlet pipe to engine bolt to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Recouple the radiator outlet hose to the coolant outlet pipe, relocate the hose clamp, and fill up the cooling system.
