    Q:
How to replace the brake master cylinder on Chevrolet Lumina? Posted by Customer
    A:
To begin replacing the brake master cylinder you need to detach brake pipes from their sockets at the cylinder and the fluid level sensor terminals. Unscrew and take out the bolts connecting the master cylinder to its support points. Then remove the cylinder from the system. Bubble all brake fluid from the master cylinder storage and pull out the master cylinder reservoir. The first part of installation is to put in the master cylinder reservoir then the master cylinder itself. Securely fasten the brake booster nuts to 25 Nm and plug in the fluid level sensor wiring connection. Join the brake pipes to master cylinder while tightening its tubes to 15 Nm. Rephrase the process by filling the brake fluid reservoir and then performing the brake system bleeding.
