    Q:
How to replace the Clutch Master Cylinder on Chevrolet HHR? Posted by Customer
    A:
If you want to replace the Clutch Master Cylinder, first remove the clutch pedal retainer on the front of the clutch pedal assembly and pull the clutch pedal upward to disengaging the Clutch Master Cylinder pushrod from the clutch pedal. Then, you need to eliminate the ubec while being skeptical about the brake fluid consequences for the paint and electrics. Put a shop under Clutch Master Cylinder to collect most of the lost fluids, then disconnect the Clutch Hose and clutch line from the Clutch Master Cylinder. Seal the reservoir and hydraulic lines to avoid fluid leakage and contamination, and then turn the Clutch Master Cylinder one 1/4 turn clockwise and unwind the vehicle. For install, make sure the Clutch Master Cylinder push road aligns with clutch pedal, then install the Clutch Master Cylinder rotate with 1/4 turn clockwise. Disable the battery connection to the ubec, remove the ubec from the frame and seize it to the radio application, uncap the reservoir and hydraulic lines on the radio component, attach the Clutch Hose and line connected to the Clutch Master Cylinder, reinstall the ubec, reconnect the battery connection to the ubec. Mount the Clutch Master Cylinder pushrod between the clutch pedal and master cylinder using pins to hold the clutch pedal in place, as well as installing the clutch pedal retainer and bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
