How to replace the rear Trunk Lock Cylinder on Buick Rainier? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to change the buick rainier liftgate lock of 2004-2006 and other model years requires removing the rear Wiper Motor when present on these vehicles. Disengage the lock rod from its position on the lock cylinder before you extract the c clip from the groove inside it. Pull out the lock cylinder from the exterior panel of the liftgate. Direct the lock cylinder into its liftgate position and place the c clip into its matching groove. After connecting the lock rod to the cylinder you can reconnect the rear Wiper Motor.
