Handle, Outside, Driver Side

The first step to replace the front side door outside handle requires removal of the front door trim panel together with the front door water deflector. The rod connecting the outside handle requires a retaining clip release followed by performing the identical procedure on the lock cylinder rod through clip removal. The assembly of the outside door handle requires bolt removal from the door before extracting the handle itself. Clip the lock cylinder off from the outside door handle mechanism. To perform installation you must mount the lock cylinder onto the outside door handle followed by reinstalling the door handle on the front door. Install the bolts holding the door handle into its place while tightening them to 9 Nm (80 lb in). Attach the lock cylinder rod to the lock cylinder by using the retaining clip and also join the outside door handle rod to its respective handle through the retaining clip . The last step includes repositioning both the front door water deflector and the front door trim panel.

Open the front and rear side access doors.

First, remove the front door trim panel and the water deflector.

Connect the lock cylinder rod to the lock cylinder using the retaining clip and the outside door handle rod to the door handle using the retaining clip.

First, remove the rear door trim panel.

Connect the lock cables to the inside door handle.
