Window Regulator, Front Driver Side

Commence replacement of the front side door Window Regulator by taking out the front door trim panel along with the front door water deflector first. Next you must detach the bolts holding the front door window to its regulator before removing the front door window. You must disconnect the electrical connector from the Window Regulator motor when the vehicle has a31 as its equipment. Loosen the bolts securing the Window Regulator at its keyhole slots then pull out all remaining fasteners keeping it within the inner panel. The Window Regulator can be lifted out of its keyhole slots before being extracted through the access hole. To install the front door Window Regulator pass it into the access hole before guiding the regulator bolts through the inner panel keyhole slots to position it correctly. Screw the fastener that will retain the front door Window Regulator to the door and torque the fasteners to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Install a31 at the same time by linking the electrical connector to the Window Regulator motor. Reinstall the front door window through its bolt slots and secure it by tightening those bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Secure the system by putting back the front door water deflector followed by the front door trim panel.

Begin the front door Window Regulator replacement operation by removing both trim panel and water deflector elements of the front door. First disconnect the bolts holding the front door window to the Window Regulator and take away the window. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Window Regulator motor when a31 is installed. First loosen the bolts at keyhole slot locations which connect the Window Regulator to inner panel before taking out the rest of the fasteners between the panel and regulator. First lift the Window Regulator through the slots of the keyhole before removing it through the access opening. New window regulators should be inserted into the front door through the access hole and aligned by inserting the regulator bolts into the keyhole slots in the inner panel. Fasten the regulator retaining piece to the door while securing its fasteners to 9 n.m (80 lb in) torque. Reconnect the electrical connector to the Window Regulator motor when vehicle is equipped with a31. Replace the front door window before fastening it securely using the bolts which should be tightened at 9 n.m (80 lb in). At the end of this procedure install both the front door water deflector and front door trim panel.

The first step to replace a front door Window Regulator requires removal of the front door trim panel together with the front door water deflector. To start the process detach the bolts which hold the front door window to the Window Regulator and take away the window. Disconnection of the electrical connector happens at the Window Regulator motor location when a31 is present. To install a31 features users should join the electrical connector to the motor of the Window Regulator. Proceed to install the front door window by fastening it securely through bolt tightening up to 9 n.m (80 lb in). The last step involves putting back the front door water deflector followed by re-attaching the front door trim panel.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor.

Secure the window to the regulator with bolts, tightening them to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Remove the window support and lower the window onto the window regulator carrier plate.

Remove the bolts securing the rear window to the window regulator and raise and support the rear door window.
