    The first step to replace the front Door Hinge on the body side requires opening the front door to remove the bolt that retains the front Door Check link to the body. The first step requires removal of the body-mounted front door wiring harness grommet followed by disconnecting the door wiring harness connectors. The front door hinges require bolt removal to disengage the front Door Hinge keeper straps. Afterward assistance becomes necessary to lift the front door off its body side installation points where it should be placed on a clean protective surface. Marker the mounting locations of the front door hinges on the body side using a grease pencil or suitable writing implement while cleaning the surfaces with a clean rag. Take off the body side hinge retaining bolts from the body before removing the hinges. When installing the front Door Hinge to the body side alignment marks you must use bolts which need to be tightened to 27 n.m (20 lb ft). The front door should be lowered onto the body side hinge straps with help. Install bolts at the front Door Hinge keeper straps while tightening to 25 n.m (18.4 lb ft). The front door wiring harness connectors need installation while the wiring harness grommet should be applied to the body structure. To finish up install the bolt tying the front Door Check link to the body then tighten it to 25 n.m (18.4 lb ft). Check the door works correctly along with its alignment.
