    Q:
How to Replace the A/C Hose with RPO Code C60 Compressor for Suction Hose on Buick Terraza? Posted by Customer
    A:
Use the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) to perform leaking tests on a/c components following the procedure completion when you replace the suction hose with rpo code c60 compressor. First recover all refrigerant from the a/c system before immediately applying caps or tape to open a/c components to stop contamination. Cut the bolt connecting the suction hose to the a/c evaporator tube and launch the suction hose from the tube before discarding the washer seal. Begin by disconnecting the A/C Compressor electrical connector along with the suction hose to A/C Compressor nut and then detach the suction hose from the A/C Compressor while discarding both sealing washers from their respective places and capping off the suction port on the A/C Compressor. Connect a new sealing washer to the suction hose end addressing the A/C Compressor and remove protective tape or cap from the suction port before placing the hose to the A/C Compressor while tightening the nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). First place a new sealing washer at the evaporator tube end then remove the cap or tape from the evaporator tube and attach the suction hose to the a/c evaporator tube by securing it with bolt tightened to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). To finish the process hook up the A/C Compressor electrical connector while performing a/c system evacuation and recharging followed by using the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) for fitting leak tests.

    Q:
How to Replace the A/C Hose in the HVAC System for Suction Hose on Chevrolet Uplander? Posted by Customer
    A:
First step to install the suction hose (LZ9) in the HVAC system requires the Halogen Leak Detector (J 39400-A) to test fittings of A/C components. The recovery process needs to start by extracting all refrigerant substances from the A/C system. The replacement of the A/C suction hose to A/C evaporator tube bolt requires removing the bolt followed by detaching the hose from the tube and discarding the sealing washer. Start by applying a cap or tape to the evaporator tube and then detach the air baffle inside the radiator. Proceed with disconnecting the A/C compressor electrical connector followed by removing the A/C suction hose to A/C compressor nut and the A/C suction hose from the A/C compressor while discarding the sealing washer in both instances. The procedure requires taping or capping of the A/C suction port on the A/C compressor followed by removing the A/C suction hose . Before installation use new sealing washers on the A/C suction hose then remove the cap or tape from the suction port of the A/C compressor before attaching the A/C suction hose to the A/C compressor and maintaining its hex nut at 16 N.m (12 lb ft). Place an A/C evaporator tube bolt on the hose before its installation onto the tube. Securing this bolt requires a torque setting of 16 N.m (12 lb ft). Complete the process by reattaching the electrical connector of the compressor then proceed with evacuation and complete A/C system recharging.
