How to Replace an A/C Hose in the HVAC System for Discharge Hose on 2008 Chevrolet Uplander?

After finishing the hvac installation you should use the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) to check for leaks in all a/c component fittings. Start by extracting refrigerant from the a/c system then close all a/c parts securely to stop contamination. You must remove the A/C Condenser discharge hose by unscrewing the bolt while throwing away its sealing washer. Start by unscrewing the nut from the a/c discharge hose which connects to the A/C Compressor while discarding the sealing washer. Next remove the radiator air baffle followed by the hose detachment. Begin by removing the discharge hose and a/c pressure sensor and accompanying o-ring while disconnecting the pressure sensor electrical connector. To install the component install a new o-ring on the a/c discharge hose while fixing the a/c pressure sensor with a torque setting of 5 n.m (44 lb in). To install the a/c discharge hose connect it to the compressor while tightening the nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft) with new sealing washers fitted on both ends. Connect the a/c discharge hose to the condenser using the bolt that should be tightened to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Then reinstall the radiator air baffle before removing the cap or tape from the A/C Condenser discharge port. Finally, attach the a/c discharge hose to the condenser and tighten the bolt securely. Complete the a/c system evacuation followed by a recharging process.
