The first step when replacing the A/C Accumulator involves immediately sealing air conditioning (A/C) lines using caps or tape to stop system contamination. Start by taking out the A/C Condenser and afterward covering the open a/c lines with caps or tape. The next step requires removal of the A/C Accumulator upper bracket screw and the two lower bolts before extracting the A/C Accumulator. Seal the condenser lower openings by capping them or by placing tape. To implement a brand-new A/C Accumulator the specified pag oil must be directly added according to instructions. Begin by removing the caps or tape from condenser lower openings before installing new sealing washers for the A/C Accumulator and the accumulator itself. Use 16 n.m (12 lb ft) torque when securing the lower bolts to fix the A/C Accumulator followed by upper bracket screw installation at 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Coil up the tape or remove the caps from open a/c lines before reattaching the A/C Condenser.

Ventilation of the air-conditioning lines must be sealed by applying tape or caps to stop system contamination. Particle from the A/C Condenser must be removed initially. Afterward reapply the caps or tapes to the exposed a/c lines. The A/C Accumulator removal starts with removing the upper bracket screw and the lower bolts before extracting the accumulator itself through removal of the lower sealing washers. Cap or tape the condenser lower openings. The specified pag oil amount goes directly into the new A/C Accumulator during its installation. Place new lower A/C Accumulator sealing washers into the condenser lower openings and install the A/C Accumulator along with them. Begin with the installation of lower bolts before torqueing each one to 16 n.m (12 lb ft) while using the same value to tighten the upper bracket screw. As the last step take off tape or caps from exposed a/c lines before installing the A/C Condenser.

Install the lower bolts and tighten them to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

Discard the sealing washers.
