    Your replacement of the HVAC control module begins with removing the IP accessory trim plate and the control module retaining screws. Push down on the HVAC control module retaining tabs before removing the HVAC control module from the instrument panel. You must disconnect all electrical connectors that connect to the HVAC control module. Connect each electrical connector to the HVAC control module before reinserting the instrument panel component and watch for retaining tabs to engage. Insert the HVAC control module retaining screws while tightening them to 1.9 N.m (17 lb ft) before reinstalling the IP accessory trim plate.
