    You have to remove the Wiper Arm first before you can detach the Wiper Motor cover and extract its four retaining items. Step one disconnects the Wiper Motor electrical connector then step two removes its bolt. To begin working on the Wiper Motor removal use these steps: remove the liftglass nut as the next step along with other components like nut, spacer, and washer from the drive shaft. To install the Wiper Motor set it inside the vehicle but make sure to put a washer and a spacer on the Wiper Motor shaft bottom while tightening the nut to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Secure the bolt onto the Wiper Motor while tightening it to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Complete the installation by attaching the nut into the liftglass. Reinsert the electrical plug and put the Wiper Motor cover into place by tightening the four retainers on its face.

    Starting the process to replace the wiper motor requires removal of the wiper arms together with the air inlet grille panel. Detach the electrical connector from the motor while keeping the crank arm intact. Securely loosen the crank arm drive link bracket bolts before taking the brackets off the wiper motor crank arm. Move along the vehicle sequence by unbolting the three components so you can pull out the wiper motor. When replacing the wiper motor on the vehicle return it to position then tighten the three bolts to 7 N.m (62 lb in). Secure the drive link brackets onto the wiper motor crank arm by aligning the right side link nearest the motor shaft and firmly torque link nuts to 5 N.m switching to 44 lb in as the torque measurement. Re-install the wiper motor electrical connector while reassembling the wiper arms and restoring the air inlet grille panel.

    Start the replacement process by getting only two items: Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) and Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Unbolt both wiper arms before the air inlet grille panel needs to be gone. Unbolt the four pieces that hold the reinforcement panel while removing the electrical socket from the wiper motor. Dismantle the wiper transmission assy by taking out its two mounting bolts for vehicle removal. Unplug the wiper motor from the transmission with the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) while separating the drive link from the crank arm. Then take out the 2 installation bolts and remove the wiper motor from the assembly. Secure the wiper motor onto the wiper transmission assembly by fitting the two bolts and turning them to 8 N.m (71 lb in). Install the wiper transmission installer tool (J 39529) to attach the drive link to the wiper motor crank arm and put back the wiper transmission assembly with two bolts that require torque setting at 9 N.m (80 lb in). Put the electrical connector back on the wiper motor and bolt the panel with four screws at 9 N.m (80 lb in). Put back the wiper arms and air inlet grille panel. Check that the wipers work correctly by activating them.
