    Q:
How to replace the fuel rail assembly on Buick LeSabre? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step of Fuel Rail assembly replacement demands users to release fuel pressure from the fuel system while maintaining constant cleanliness during this operation. Drain fuel from the rail assembly while cleaning its components before removing the fuel lines from their rail tubes and the vacuum tubing from the pressure regulator. For this procedure use a Fuel Injector remover tool to disassemble ignition coil wires followed by lock tab depression and disconnecting engine feed connectors from fuel injectors. The Fuel Injector remover tool (J 43013) should allow you to lift the injectors with precision as you should apply equal force during Fuel Rail removal from both sides. Install the Fuel Rail assembly onto the Intake Manifold after replacing all serviced component o-rings while lightly applying clean motor oil to them. Gently push the fuel injectors into place by hand. Fasten the Fuel Rail hold-down bolts before torquing them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Resynchronize all connections between the Fuel Injector electric cables and the fuel lines together with the vacuum line to the pressure regulator and the ignition wire assembly. To complete the procedure turn on the ignition for 2 seconds followed by 10 seconds off then another 2 seconds on before inspecting for fuel leaks while the ignition is on. The fuel injection sight shield needs to be installed now.
