    Q:
How to replace the coolant reservoir on GMC Canyon? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin coolant replacement on the recovery reservoir by draining some fluid from the system. Start by removing the air cleaner assembly before disconnecting the coolant overflow hose which connects to the coolant recovery reservoir. Start by removing the bolt that holds the coolant recovery reservoir to the coolant recovery reservoir bracket and next detach the radiator vent hose from the coolant recovery reservoir. First remove the bolt that locks the coolant recovery reservoir into its position on the front wheel house panel before taking out the coolant recovery reservoir. During installation, lock the coolant recovery reservoir into position by securing it with its retaining bolt to the front wheelhouse panel before tightening it to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.). Insert the radiator vent hose to the coolant recovery reservoir before fastening the retaining bolt which secures the coolant recovery reservoir to its bracket at 10 nm (88 inch lbs.). After installing the air cleaner assembly you must connect the overflow hose to the coolant recovery reservoir before you fill the cooling system.
