    The first step to swap out the blower motor resistor assembly is by taking out the right-side instrument panel IP insulator. Detach the blower motor resistor assembly's electrical connector from the resistor block while removing all screws that secure it. Afterward extract the assembly from the work area. Place the blower motor resistor assembly in its proper location and fix it with screws as per the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in). Reattach the blower motor resistor electrical connector before putting back the right side instrument panel insulator.

Install the screws and tighten them to 1 N.m (9 lb in), and afterward reconnect the electrical connector. In the end, reinstall the right side instrument panel (IP) insulator.

Next, unscrew the blower resistor screws and follow it with removing the Blower Motor Resistor. To install, start off by installing the new Blower Motor Resistor following the fastener notice in service precautions. Tighten the blower resistor screws to 1 n.m (9 lb in) then plug in the blower resistor electrical connector, and finally reinstall the right side instrument panel (IP) insulator.
