Temperature Sensor

Begin by removing the third pillar molding to replace the Auxiliary Inside Air Temperature Sensor Assembly. Start by removing the left rear coat hook when available. The installation process requires detachment of rear headliner retainers from front headliner before slowly routing the headliner through roof hook and loop retainers. Cut the electrical connector loose from the inside air temperature sensor before you extract the sensor partially from the headliner. Separate the sensor grille from the auxiliary inside air temperature sensor then fully detach the sensor from its mount. The process begins with sensor grille attachment to the headliner then adding inside air temperature sensor to the headliner and sensor grille. The installation process begins by connecting the inside air temperature sensor's electrical connector before locking the roof hook and loop retainers to the headliner and reinstalling the front headset retainers to the rear headliner. Post these steps finish by installing both the third pillar molding and the left rear coat hook if present.

Take off the third pillar molding and the left rear coat hook, if present, in order to remove the Auxiliary Inside Air Temperature Sensor Assembly. Next, remove the rear headliner retainers from the front headliner and quietly slide the headliner down the retaining Velcro of the roof. Pull the electrical connector from the inside air temperature sensor and partially remove the sensor from the headliner. Next, there is the sensor grille to take the auxiliary inside air temperature sensor out altogether. First fix the new sensor grille to headliner and afterwards the in side air temperature sensor to headliner and sensor grille. Reconnect the electrical connector to the inside air temperature sensor then secure the headliner to the roof Velcro, as well, reinstall the rear headliner retainers to the front headliner. If available, reinstall the left rear coat hook and lastly, the third pillar molding.

To replace the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor, one should first remove the front grille from the vehicle. Then, remove the air temperature sensor from the grille frame and discard the air temperature sensor also. Finally, disconnect the electrical connector from the center door switch, and remove the center door switch from built-in blower switch frame. In the installation, firstly install push pin retainer into air temperature sensor bracket attach electrical connector with air temperature sensor and then install front grille back to the vehicle.

You will need to take off the front grille from the vehicle before you can replace the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor. subsequentially, take off the electrical connector from the air temperature sensor before removing the push pin retainer from its bracket. For installation, put the push pin retainer into the air temperature sensor bracket, attach the electrical connector to the air temperature sensor, and lastly reinstall the front grille to the vehicle.

First disconnect the electrical connection from the inside air temperature sensor yet leave part of the auxiliary inside air temperature sensor attached to the headliner. Begin the installation by attaching the new sensor grille to the headliner then follow with the inside air temperature sensor installation between the headliner and the sensor grille. After connecting the electrical connector to the inside air temperature sensor, secure the headliner to roof hook and loop retainers and reinstall rear headliner retainers to the front headliner. After completing the reinstall of left rear coat hook (if present) users should install the third pillar molding.

Begin installation by placing the push pin retainer into the air temperature sensor bracket before you connect the electrical connector to the air temperature sensor then put the front grille back onto the vehicle.

The first steps for replacing the inside air temperature sensor are to remove the left windshield garnish molding, then take out the left center pillar assist handle, and later the center pillar garnish molding. After that, pull out the left sunshade and lower the headliner gently. Take off the electrical connector at the inside air temperature sensor, and then gently pull the sensor away from the headliner. Pull the sensor grille away from the inside air temperature sensor and then take the sensor out. At installation, start by attaching the new sensor grille to the headliner, then put in the inside air temperature sensor and connect the electrical wire to it. Once more, fit the left sunshade, left center pillar garnish molding, left center assist handle, and left windshield garnish molding, checking that all components are snug.
