How to Remove and Install Car Speakers from the Front Door Trim Plate on Chevrolet Express 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin front (also called tweeter) replacement by taking off the trim feature on the front door and the door panel it is attached to. The Power Window Switch and power Mirror Switch connectors as well as power lock switch connectors must be detached from their respective components if equipped. The tweeter removal requires drilling away the heater pins first while the technician disconnects electrical wires from the tweeter before removing it from the front door trim plate. When installing the tweeter attach it to the front door trim plate while following the mentioned fastener notice in service precautions. Screws should be used to secure the tweeter onto the front door trim plate at 2 n.m (18 lb in). Complete the electrical connection process by linking the tweeter first then moving to the Power Window Switch and power Mirror Switch followed by the power lock switch if equipped. Reattach the front door trim plate to its mounting on the door trim panel.
