    Q:
How to replace the front upper car speakers on Chevrolet SSR? Posted by Customer
    A:
The process to change the front upper speaker starts with taking off the door trim panel. After disconnecting the electrical connector you must remove the connector position assurance for the connector. Fitment of the speaker begins by removing the door fasteners before extracting the speaker unit. Installation requires you to place the new speaker onto the door which should be followed by fastener installation at 2 N.m (18 lb in) torque according to Service Precautions Fastener Notice. Reattach the electrical connector following the installation of the CPA for the connector accessory before putting back the door trim panel.

    Q:
How to replace the front upper car speakers on Chevrolet Trailblazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before changing the front upper speaker you need to remove the trim pad but maintain the speaker electrical connector outside the speaker opening. The speaker removal process starts with undoing 3 screws holding it to the instrument panel (I/P) substrate while removing the speaker electrical connector before extracting the speaker. To install the new speaker users must position it onto the instrument panel (I/P) before connecting the speaker electrical connector. The safety procedure for fasteners must be followed to protect the vehicle then install all three retaining screws and tighten them to 2 nm (18 lb in). Finally, reinstall the trim pad.
