Proceed with wire Spark Plug replacement when ignition is set to off. Trigger the Spark Plug boot one-half turn for removal by grasping only the boot to protect the wire from damage. Begin by disconnecting Spark Plug wires 1, 3, and 5 from rear bank spark plugs and their retaining clips before detaching wires from both ignition coils and the engine. A new Spark Plug wire installation requires moving all boot heat shields in addition to Spark Plug wire conduit and Spark Plug wire retaining clips. The first step toward installation involves hooking up Spark Plug wires to both engine components and ignition coils while wiring number 1 3 and 5 to right side engine spark plugs using retaining clips. Secure wires 2, 4 and 6 to the left spark plugs of the engine before locking them into place.

Start by turning the ignition off to replace the Spark Plug wires. You must twist the Spark Plug boot a half-turn counterclockwise to separate it before you gently pull on the boot to protect the wire. There are two procedures for the front bank spark plugs. To perform the installation connect Spark Plug wires to engine and ignition coils before attaching wires 1, 3 and 5 to rear bank spark plugs and retaining their clips. The engine must return to its original place before securing the front bank Spark Plug wires (2, 4, and 6) into their retaining clips.

After the engine right side spark plugs secure the Spark Plug wires 1, 3, and 5 to their retaining clip. Complete the wiring process by inserting Spark Plug wires 2, 4, and 6 to the left side spark plugs and fastening them into the retaining clip.

Pull out all three front bank Spark Plug Wires (2, 4, 6) and unfasten each wire from its retaining clip. Pull the engine forward to access it and remove Spark Plug Wires (1, 3, 5) from the rear bank spark plugs and their retaining clips before removing the wires from both the ignition coils and engine. In cases of Spark Plug wire replacement it is important to transfer the boot heat shields and both Spark Plug wire conduit and retaining clips. The installation process starts with wire connection between Spark Plug Wires and ignition coils followed by wire placement (1, 3, 5) into rear bank spark plugs using retaining clips for retention. Reinstall the engine to its right position before connecting the Spark Plug Wires (2, 4, 6) to the front bank spark plugs and fastening them into their retaining clips.

Connect them to the engine right side spark plugs and secure them with the retaining clip.

Next, detach the spark plug wires from the retaining clips, followed by removing the spark plug wires 1, 3, and 5 from the engine right side spark plugs and their respective retaining clips.

Pull only on the boot to avoid damaging the wire.

A thorough inspection is necessary to accurately identify conditions that may affect performance.

Each wire should be examined for any signs of cracks or splits.

Detach them from the ignition coils and the engine.

Improper routing may cause cross-firing.

Install the spark plug wires 1, 3, and 5 to the right side spark plugs and secure them with the retaining clip.

Repeat the same process used for the rear spark plug wires (1, 3, 5).

Connect the spark plug wires to the ignition coils.

Twist the spark plug boot one-half turn to release it, ensuring to pull only on the boot to avoid damaging the wire.

Detach the spark plug wires from the ignition coils and remove them from the engine.
