You should start work on the Water Pump by emptying the coolant. You should first handle the Drive Belt guard to make room for moving the Water Pump Pulley bolts. Use safety equipment to take away both Water Pump Pulley bolts before taking the pulley off. Unbolt the Water Pump from its attaching points and remove this component plus its gasket. Prepare the Water Pump mating surfaces by cleaning them and apply the gasket before putting on the Water Pump assembly. Secure the Water Pump bolts by turning them to 10 nm torque setting (89 inch lbs. Range). First install the Water Pump Pulley and place Water Pump Pulley bolts loosely before putting on the Drive Belt. Secure the Water Pump Pulley bolts to 25 nm but no more than 18 inch lbs. And put back both Drive Belt guard parts. Complete the cooling system with fluid and check for any fluid leakage.
