How to replace the water pump (3.1L) on 2001 Buick Century?

As the first step of Water Pump replacement (3.1L), drain and remove the coolant through the Drive Belt guard. Twist off Water Pump Pulley bolts first to access the Drive Belt. Then unscrew both bolts from the Water Pump Pulley before removing it for new installation. First remove the Water Pump attaching bolts and take out the Water Pump itself. Afterwards pull out the Water Pump Gasket. Prepare Water Pump joining areas before putting on both gasket and Water Pump assembly. Nut down the Water Pump bolts to 10 nm then put on the Water Pump Pulley with the Drive Belt loosely installed. Secure Water Pump Pulley bolts to 25 nm and put back the protective cover while adding coolant into the system for leak detection.
