  A: Raise the vehicle and place it on frame supports, making sure the control arms fall freely, then proceed to remove the wheel and tire. Take off the wheel and tire, then wash all the dirt off the drive axle threads and put some lubricant on them. Put a drift punch or screwdriver through the rotor while removing the drive axle nut and the rotor.
