How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2000 Cadillac Eldorado?

You should disable the SIR system before working on the vehicle's Multifunction Turn Signal Lever. Pull the connector cover toward the front part of the vehicle and detach it from its socket. Insert the lever fully forward then turn it 1/4 turn clockwise and withdraw the tool from the switch. Run the wire harness through its proper place and plug in the connector. Slip the lever into place on the switch by pushing it straight forward and turning counterclockwise 1/4 turn to lock it in. Plug in the connection and return the cover panel to its original position while activating SIR features.
